    noise disturbance

The open fire in the bar created a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Enjoying takeaway food there was a nice twist that felt cozy and authentic.

Noise from the pub upstairs was noticeable, which could be disruptive if you’re hoping for a peaceful night’s sleep. The room initially felt a bit chilly upon arrival, but it didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience.

A Cozy Stay with Local Charm

My visit was delightful. I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere from my room above the bar and the warmth of the local patrons. The staff went above and beyond, sharing helpful tips about nearby attractions, including a charming museum about the Knights of Glin. The breakfast was tasty and set me up perfectly for my day, and I loved the blend of laughter and stories from the bar's history.

    welcoming atmosphere
    spacious room
    limited breakfast
    disruptive noise
    room separation

Check-in was seamless, and the host was genuinely welcoming. The vibrant atmosphere in the bar added a cozy charm, and the spacious room provided a nice retreat after exploring the town. However, breakfast options were limited to continental style, which felt a bit underwhelming. The sound from the bar could be disruptive, especially if seeking rest. Also, having rooms located across the street made it difficult for families to stay connected easily.

The bar had an inviting atmosphere, ideal for winding down. staff displayed warm Irish hospitality. Its location was conveniently close to the ferry for easy travel to nearby destinations.

The shower could use some attention, as the temperature was inconsistent during use.

Just a decent option for a short layover in Glin with decent value for money. The room was surprisingly clean and comfortable, a nice touch for a budget stay. noise from the bar can be loud late into the night.
